Worth retaking? (Please, offer your advice)

I’m an international student from Egypt, and I am looking to pursue a scholarship in the United States. Here is a quick account of my current SAT scores, I’ve taken the SAT a total of two times in a row.
October 2011:
CR 580
Math 670
WR 750
Total: 2000

November 2011
CR 650
Math 780
WR 790
Total: 2220

Obviously, I’m very low on literary intelligence, which shows on my critical reading score. Basically, what I’m aspiring to achieve is a 730 CR in my next SAT trial, to superscore it with my math and writing, and bring my total score to 2300.

Now, my question. Are scholarships in the US attainable with a score of 2220 on the SAT, or do they set the bar a little higher, in which case I’ll have to retake and take a shot at 2300. Would it make a significant difference?
