Worth sending in another recommendation letter?

Hey

so i was wondering if i should send in another recommendation letter? It would be from my mentor, a chief resident neurosurgeon at the Ottawa hospital. He does list other qualities that my teachers neglected, and knows my passion for neurosurgery very well, highlighting my internships in AIIMS, India and Dubai hospital. My advisor for my internships also told me she is sending in a direct letter to the deans of the institutions i applied to… so i dont know how that will look because i didnt ask her and she kinda insisted (shes a retired gynecologist that worked for 40 years)… so ya… sorry for the long post… im kinda of unsure… and my apologies if it comes out kind of braggy, it was not meant to be like that. I was just stating some facts… and my bad for the grammar and what not lol im in a rush

ok thanks.

What are your reservations?

It can’t hurt. (Unless you think it can.)

I did send in one from a researcher at a local institution at the last minute and I was accepted. Whether the recommendation had any effects is anyone’s guess though.

Woah, someone else from Ottawa!

What high school do you go to?

Ontopic: it can’t hurt, can it?
