Worth taking AP lit exam if already pased AP English composition?

I already passed the AP English Composition exam with a 4, and now I’m not sure if I stand to gain anything from taking the AP Literature exam. The reason being that I’m going to ucsb, and, from what I understand, the tests are treated the same:

Have I correctly interpreted the information?

Based on that web page, UCSB treats English Language and English Literature the same.

But if you got a 4 on Language, you may still want to take Literature, since you can get more subject credit for a 5 than for a 4.

Not sure… lit in my opinion is much harder than lang… it might not be worth the time

If you have to pay to take it (some districts pay for you) and you don’t think you can get an equal or better score, don’t bother. If it’s free anyway, what’s the harm?
