Worth Trying?

i don’t have much of an idea about how med school admissions work, just know that i’m pretty screwed. but i was wondering if there’s still any hope despite my crappy situation.

i’m a second year undergrad at mcgill university (canada) looking to go to med school anywhere in the US (lived entire life there). i’ve pretty much taken all the pre-med reqs, except org 2, without getting anything higher than a B+ in any of them (lots of C’s). my gpa is a 2.6, and, because of this, i decided to change my major from biochem to psychology.

before i embarrass myself in front of an advisor, and determine what my next course of action should be, i was wondering if there is any reason to continue (at a much higher level) this pursuit. have i sabotaged any chance?

probably best to talk to your advisor.

I don’t understant what you are trying to determine. Are you asking if you should continue to persue medical school?

If so, that really depends on your desire and drive. If it’s something that you really want, you can always redo the courses and have a grade replacement.
