Would 3.9 GPA get into UCI Bizecon?

<p>I’m planning to take Eng 100 during the summer, but due to state budget cut
I might now be able to take the class.</p>

<p>If I don’t take Eng 100 (Or eng. composition 1?) in summer, I can’t apply for TAG.</p>

<p>My first choice is Business Admin. so I don’t need TAG for that, but I’m thinking
about Bizecon as my back up.</p>

<p>I’m only applying to UCI, Cal, and UCLA.</p>

<p>My GPA is 3.9 and I think (fingers crossed) it’s going to remain around 3.9.</p>

<p>So here’s my question.</p>

<p>Would 3.9 GPA (<em>without</em> TAG) get into UCI Bizecon?</p>

<p>No, a near perfect GPA will not help you get into a UC. ;)</p>

<p>It depends on how many pre-reqs you have completed. If you’re applying for biz econ and you have a 3.9 but are missing 2 or 3 pre-reqs, it certainly might not be enough. </p>

<p>lol I was being sarcastic sorry. But c’mon, a near perfect gpa doesn’t make any school a reach gpa wise. 3.7 you’re mid pack, but 3.9 you’re a front runner.</p>

<p>I don’t know how alternative majors work for UCI. You should ask people who applied to biz admin this year and see if they got into biz econ.</p>
