Credit was awarded for a class by examination rather than taking the class? I mean, I know the material thats why I don’t want to waist time on it but I need that on my transcript so they’ll let me take another class I want.

^^ waste*

How would they know that you only examined the class? (And, if you did examine it, spending your time there anyways, why did you just add the class? Was your schedule full?)

I mean, I don’t think that the admissions officers will care. If anything, I think they would be impressed that you were able to skip the class.

Shouldn’t be a problem, provided your record demonstrates that you know the material well.

Thanks for the replys, but just to make sure,(you may have gotten it first time, idk) what I mean by examination is that I take an exam for that class which contains all the material that is taught in that class. If I pass, I am awarded the credit the class would normally give and my grade for the class is what I got on the exam. On the transcript, the class shows up as it would like any other class , but it is also indicated that the class was passed with a test so I never really had a full years worth of the class but all that should matter is I know the material right?

That should be absolutely fine.
