Would assisting my professor in teaching Philosophy help me get into PA school?

I know this isn’t related to PA school so I wanted to know if I pass up on the opportunity. I was asked if I wanted to help my professor teach a Philosophy class next semester and I said that I would think about it. I’m currently shadowing a PA, I write for a graduate (as an undergraduate) scientific blog, I work as a CNA, and have hosted blood drives and volunteered in other places. I also have a trip next year to volunteer at a hospital in Vietnam for two weeks. Anyway, would assisting my professor, even though it is not a science or medicine-related class, help my chances or should I pass?
