You definitely have a shot. It’s a reach for just about everyone, but it won’t hurt you to apply.

most definitely, you’re within the ballpark of the people they accept  GO FOR IT!

I am really worried that my class rank is going to kill my app though XD Has anybody as low as 13 ever got in?

Shinto, I am sure students lower than 13 have gotten in, but it will depend on the school to some extent and also what else you bring to the table. Your research experience, your debate awards and even your tuba playing are all likely to be looked on as positives. There are certainly no guarantees except this one: if you don’t apply you won’t get in.

When people say you have a shot does that mean I have a realistic chance of getting in, or that I just won’t automatically get rejected. I am really worried about my GPA. I already applied to Harvard so now I just have to wait, but my low rank is killing me.
