Both of my parents have kandidatexamen (bachelors degrees) from Sweden, but my mom has an associates and my dad never finished technical college in America, so would I be considered a first generation student? Or would the fact that they have bachelors in a different country stop me from being considered a first gen? Not sure. Thanks
No you are not firstgen. Your parents have Bachelors degrees. It doesn’t matter where they received them.
