Would I fit in at these schools?

Hello everybody. I am trying to figure out if I would fit in at these schools.

Illinois Wesleyan University Titans
Ohio Wesleyan University Bishops
Rhodes College Lynx
Lawrence University Vikings
Knox College Prairie Fire
Kalamazoo College Hornets
University of Denver Pioneers
Centre College Colonels
Beloit College Buccaneers
Kenyon College Lords and Ladies
Oberlin College Yeomen
Denison University Big Red

I already know a lot about them. Now I am trying to figure out how I would fit in with the community of students there.

Some things about me

I intend to major in History

I come from a private college prep school

I enjoy sports, but I am not obsessed with them.

I love theater.

I like to go out and have fun, but I do not want it to control my life. For example I am not interested in schools that have frats that dominate the social scene.

I am a pretty average kid. I have a nerdy side, but I also have a cool fun party side.

Thanks for the help

Well, I’m sure you would fit in at Oberlin, Kenyon, and Denison.

From your “things about me” listed, Kalamazoo would be a perfect fit.

are you sure you’re not obsessed with sports? you listed all the mascots for some resason… or maybe you’re just international…

my friend absolutely loves ohio wesleyan. she thinks is a great balance of just about everything.

None…

boohighschool - For some reason I know every college’s mascot. For some reason I have to list the mascot name. It has nothing to do with sports.

Coolbreeze - What schools would you suggest then?

How rural and isolated do you want to be? There are schools on your list that are in very small towns that cater to the college as well as schools that are in legitimate cities.

I don’t really care about how isolated I am. I would like activities to revolve around the campus, but I don’t mind going out of campus to have fun. I really don’t care either way.

More help please.

Are you gay? You have to be gay to go to Oberlin. ;)

Also check out Elon.

No repaired I am not gay.

Hillsdale Col (chargers) (cheap, good theatre, some sports)
Others to consider:
Baldwin-Wallace
MIddlebury
Carleton
Macalester
???

I think all the schools you listed sound like a good fit, except maybe University of Denver and Centre. I don’t think you’ll get a real sense of community at UD and Centre is very Greek oriented. If I were you I would choose between Oberlin, Kenyon, and Rhodes. Rhodes does have a decent Greek presence also. I’m going there though!

Country Day, they must have made a mistake then, you should send them a letter and apologize for misrepresenting yourself.

Stop messing with me repaired. I don’t appreciate it.

My b. Oberlin is pretty gay but I know straight folk who go there and are perfectly happy. It has a cool history too – first coed college in the United States. :]

I highly doubt that.

Thanks for all the help everybody. I would still like more advice though lol.

diontechristmas I do know all the mascots. Try me.

I’m not going to try you, because this is the internet; you can Google whatever I say. And honestly, if you knew the team name of Knox/Centre/Ohio Wesleyan, there’s something wrong with you. There’s no bigger sports fan than me, but that’s just excessively absurd.

You don’t have to hate on me for that dude.
