Would I have a chance? A junior on the rise

<p>I am a junior and am interested in BU however I know its competitive and my dad thinks it might be too big. Would I be up for consideration with these stats as in am I on a decent track?</p>

<p>Freshman year GPA (around a 2.5 awful didn’t even try)</p>

<p>Sophmore year GPA 3.0/3.1 (once again didn’t try that hard)</p>

<p>Junior year GPA so far 3.6 unweighted (weighted probably at least a 3.8 and likely will stay consistent throughout rest of the school year)</p>

<p>Sports editor for school newspaper
Will have two years varsity basketball two years on jv
Four years of varsity baseball
PDP leader (personal development leader, basically a student leader)</p>

<p>I have interest in BU and would like to know if I have a chance right now or would I have to get very lucky in order to get accepted application time.</p>

<p>you’d probably have to get insanely lucky or get 4.0’s this year and next year (senior year still matters!) and do really well on your sat’s and improve your extracurriculars and write a killer essay and get really good recs…haha i kinda just started rambling there, sorry bout that</p>
