Would it be possible for me to improve and get into these schools?

<p>I currently have a 4.2 cumulative weighted GPA, 3.5 unweighted (Not including PE), which I know is not good enough for any schools like UCLA, Berkeley, Rice, or anything. If I was hypothetically able to improve in multiple things, what would my chances be to get into schools with similar requirements to the ones mentioned above?</p>

<p>Theoretical application statistics:
Improve to a 4.5W GPA, about 3.65UW
Have around 9 AP courses taken
2300-2400 SAT
Accepted into all-state band
First chair wind ensemble and jazz band in school
Marching band section leader
300 volunteer hours teaching English to Chinese immigrants and playing music concerts for senior citizens
Be Tennis team captain/co-captain
Member of math club and FBLA</p>

<p>This is not the chances forum, and guesses on hypotheticals are really doubly useless aren’t they? Try to do your best in the time you have. Then pick a good selection of reach, match, safety. There are other good UCs too. But there is not reason these schools can’t be on your list as reaches.</p>

<p>Sorry about the wrong discussion topic, still kind of new to this site. I’m looking for what I can realistically aim for to see if these universities would be worth going out and touring. But thank you for the advice.</p>
