To Self Study for the AP test for either Stats or Environmental Science?
I will have taken, by the time I’m finished in high school. AP world, stats, bio, english lit, comp, US, physics, BC, Spanish, gov’t/micro… and then Art History at a JC. I think this would be more than the 32 allowed… so I don’t think Psych or Enviro will count to GE anyway, and wouldn’t be able to be counted in elective or wherever everything else goes to… right?

the ONLY thing i can think of, would be the fact that I might be able to say i was an AP National Scholar before entering Sr. year?

If either of those classes are applicable to your intended major, go for it. Even if they wouldn’t fulfill a specific requirement, if they help to indicate your interest in your area of study, they could help. But if it’s just to say you got another AP, then don’t bother, go out and have some fun instead of cramming.

Well, ya, I am an intended business major…
And I have to take all the useless APs (like stats) in school because I have to keep my rank because its so competitive.

But I think I will ditch the self studies

By taking Stats, AP BC Calc, Macro, Micro, Art History, and AP Bio… that would knock off 4 of the Freshman year classes, along with 2 GE??

Haha I don’t know how you counted the 4 freshman classes, but even if you don’t get class credit, you get elective units that might stick you in sophomore standing right away.

i think those only all count for electives anyway so if you are majoring in one thing and you wanna get out quicker than take it and get at least a 3…
