Would it help/hurt to send this?

When I first got back my ACT score, I didn’t think it was worth sending to my reach schools, but after looking at some of their average score ranges I’m wondering whether sending it may actually help.
I got a 2280 on my SAT CR/M/W: 710/770/800 (11 essay)
on my ACT I got a 33 (eng/m/r/s: 34/35/32/32) (essay was a 9 :frowning: )

For the following reach schools, is the ACT worth sending or would it hurt my chances:
Columbia
Carnegie Mellon
Duke
Wash U
Cornell-ILR
Nyu-Stern
Uchicago
Dartmouth
Princeton

I would send it. Your 35 in Math on the ACT can help. Sending an extra score can never hurt, unless it’s extremely bad.

first off, 33 is a great score. second, schools will take the highest score anyways so it would never hurt you.

According to [url=<a href=“http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/estimate.html]Estimated”>http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/estimate.html]Estimated Relationship between ACT Composite Score and SAT CR+M+W Score/url, the 2280 is better, and the essay is also better so I see no reason to spend 11 dollars for the ACT score.
