Would MIT Be A Good Fit?

I am a young life-extensionist who's life goal is to cure or effectively prevent aging. Therefore I'll probably be going into the field of molecular biology/biomedical engineering.. Would MIT be a good fit for these interests, or are there better options.

short answer: yes!

There are a number of faculty members at MIT who study topics related to aging, most notably [url=http://web.mit.edu/biology/www/facultyareas/facresearch/guarente.html]Lenny Guarente/url.
