Hey guys!
I just wrote my subject SATs this Saturday, Jan 25th- the last acceptable testing date for RD applicants.
I wrote Bio E and Literature. I thought I would just write Bio since I hadn’t really prepared for Lit but then guess I became over-confident after doing Bio well . So, I attempted Lit. It was BAD!! I left like 10 questions, followed my intuition on many questions (my intuitions sucks when it come to Critical Reading and Lit. like questions).

I thought through score choice, I would be able to select just Bio but then when I was sending my scores and selecting the recipients, I realised that it isn’t possible for me to unselect Lit. That would be possible only after I receive my score on 13th Feb but the colleges specifically mentioned that their names are supposed to be given as recipients at the time of registration.

The Subject SAT requirement is 2 subjects. I wrote Math2 in Oct 2013 and scored an 800. I think I did well in Bio; maybe a 750+. Would these colleges, I am talking especially about the Ivies, look at just these top 2 scores. Would a low Lit score hurt? I do well in English in school; would a low sat score in SAT Lit. make the adcoms feel that I do well in school because the syllabus is easier (trust me, it is NOT). I am an international student and I am freaking about because I feel the adcoms wouldn’t really know the school system and syllabus in my country well and thus would presume that it is easier- because of the low SAT scores. What should I do? A letter from my English teacher? Or should I just hope they look at the top 2 scores only? Sorry for sounding desperate, but I am! :P
