<p>The writing wasn’t a fluke since I prepped really hard, but I’ve never done that poorly on math and wanted to improve on reading. Should I just give it a rest or try again next October?</p>

<p>I’m looking at engineering and schools like VT, UMich, Duke, Cornell, etc</p>

<p>most college super score the SAT and it looks like your super score is 2290. but remember even if you have a high sat score and gpa it’s not always guaranteed that these top schools will accept you. they’ve been cases were a person with 4.0 gpa and perfect sat scores didn’t get in. make sure you have other things such as extracurricular activities and volunteer as well.</p>

<p>Your scores are well above VTs mean score for entering freshman 2012. Check here for more specifics. Can’t address the other schools but you should be very proud of those scores. </p>
