Would Summer Acceleration Courses Look Bad?

Let’s say a student would like to take grade 11 or grade 12 english in summer acceleration school because they have a 9 courses they would like to take in the school year (8 is the maximum where I reside). I was wondering if taking english in summer school would cast a negative outlook for Harvard, or any other university (in general).

All the help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance :)

Look bad? No. Just well in the classes and make sure you’re doing other activities during the summer months. i.e. don’t just be a bookworm.

I know a 16 year old sophomore at Harvard; he finished high school when he was 14. Taking accelerated classes, or finishing early is not an issue, provided you’ve got something else going on in your life besides spitting out good grades in advanced classes.
