Would superscoring hurt me?

I’m planning on applying to HYPS with a 2200 superscore (710R, 710M, 780W). I took the january SAT and got a the 710 R/M and a 730W, 2150 single sitting. In October, I took the SAT and got 640R, 600M, 780W. Would this large jump in the math and reading hurt me? Or because I took the january test months later, would they just see it as determination and practice?

Also, is this worth retaking? I honestly don’t know if I could do any better lol. Well, sorry if this was confusingly written (it’s been a VERY long week).Thank you for answering and good luck with everything you guys are doing!

A jump in score would never hurt you.

It is worth retaking if you KNOW you can do better, not you think you can get better. Take some practice tests from the College Board book and see if you are consistently scoring higher.
2200 is a pretty good score already.
