so I didnt include this in my application but I have suffered from bulimia for the entirety of high school which has prevented me from achieving as highly as I could. do you think that this would be something that would be considered for an appeal?

Call and ask. It will probably be considered a special medical circumstance. Too bad you didn’t include this info with your original application. Give it a try, good luck and be healthy.

Yes,…send this info at once…try adm office or your regional adm counselor…
stay healthy…best of luck.

The only thing is I don’t have documentation of it. I had it and sought informal help from mentors of mine, but I never saw a doctor for it. :/

Thanks guys :)

I don’t think that’s a valid excuse because you had control of your sickness.

@runnerchick:

Are you familiar with the psychological and physical effects of having an eating disorder? It’s a real disease that often goes untreated and undiagnosed, so please don’t say something so insensitive as “You had control.” It’s like telling someone who is prone to suicidal tendencies “You had control” - everyone needs a little help.

As for the OP, I think that is grounds, as that is a disorder that bothered you for all four years, and severely affected you. It also could get you points for overcoming adversity, so I would give it a shot. Wish you well.

Thank you serafina.
