For one of my essay I want to challenge the idea that appearance isn’t important. I figured the topic would hook the reader and then I would explain. Now I don’t believe it is the most important, but there is weight to it. Your style is a form of self-expression, and when I dress nicely for myself I feel more confident. We could lie to ourselves and say that we don’t “judge a book by its cover” but certain book covers catch your eye and make you open it. Do you think this could be taken the wrong way and make one think I’m superficial?

You’re being realistic. It’s a valid point, just make sure you aren’t too offensive about it.

What’s the prompt?
