<p>I recently received a likely letter from Penn. If I get in and enroll, they’ll ask for my final grades right? Well my midyear report was fine, but I currently have a D in my AP 3D design class. I’m giving it my all to raise the grade, but if it stays at a D, will my admission probably be rescinded? I have As in my other classes. I would be devastated if I was rejected due to an art class in the 3rd marking period of my senior year.</p>
<p>Well, because it’s not a core course, I would say no.
Besides, if all of your other grades are As, it’s not as though they would think that you’re slacking off. Although, if you could raise that to a B or C, that should help.
I hear that it’s hard to be rescinded anyway, you would have to stop attending or begin flunking out of school for it to come to that decision, which you are nowhere near :)</p>

<p>I doubt they’d rescind your offer, but they’ll probably make you write a letter explaining your academic difficulties or something to that effect. If you provide a reasonable excuse, they’ll probably let it slide.</p>
