Would this make admissions officers reconsider?

Lets say someone has a 3.9 gpa…rnaked 22 out of 250 people…good extracurriculars and everything a 1400-1650 on the SAT and a 30 on the ACT…

will the admissions officer reconsider accepting the student because he only got a 1400-1650 on the new sat even tho he had a 30 on the act…if this happend should he not take the sat or what?

How do you get a 1400-1650 on the SAT?

I don’t actually understand your question. What are you asking?!

he means his ACT score is way higher than his new SAT score and he wonders if that will be a problem.

could you retake the sat?

no…its alrady mid october of seniors year (just saying)

can you just not submit the sat? or have you already turned in your applications?

Let’s see. To use a sports metaphor:

It looks like you’ve hit three home runs, perhaps a triple, and have a strikeout. Will your manager hold the strikeout against you?? Nah.

Don’t worry about it. The college admin folk will clearly see that SAT performance is an outlier in your profile.

And I’m pretty sure most schools allow you to send just either the ACT score of the SAT if you want, so you could just not include the SAT score.
