would transfering be a mistake...?

BC is a great place, but so far i just don’t think its for me. i’m a freshman and i have a 3.2 (i don’t think thats bad for freshman first semester). i’m in extra curricular activities already, i don’t play sports, but i do play the violin. in high school i had a weighted 3.8 which was an unweighted 3.6 (something like that) and i was involved in many leadership positions and extra curricular activities, my SATS were 1800 and i have some AP credits but not many. i have many reasons for transfering, many being social and just a dislike for where i currently am… but is this enough of a substance to transfer to Yale (yes i know i’m not getting in but i’d like to give it a try), Wesleyan or NYU. The latter are schools i applied to and Wes. i got waitlisted and NYU i was accepted but i declined the offer for BC. =/
basically… what is your perspective on the issue i’ve presented… i need some fresh thoughts =)

Thank you in advance for your opinions
