would yale want me?(add to my previous thread)

I am a junior who wants to apply to Yale this year (graduating early)

I want to know what kind of international applicant(korean) Yale looks for. My concentration on academics was mainly on mathmatics and physics in my highschool years but I have an enormous interest in philosophy and economy too.

my question is… I may seem a little like a science nerd in my application. (since my school is Korea ‘Science’ Academy…) Would yale prefer non-nerdy applicants or would it still be okay to emphasize my achievements in science?

It’s definitely OK to emphasize your achievements in science. In fact, it’d be a strategic error on your part not to. Yale takes a very diverse set of kids each year… basically they’re more interested in seeing that you’re smart, motivated, and interesting. Sell them on what you’re strong at, and where your passions lie.
