Would you chance me?

What are the colleges I’d be able to get in at best if I got:

I’m an international student from Singapore taking A Levels,

7 As for my A Level (General Paper, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Project Work and Chinese)
SAT: 800 CR, 700M, 800W (best results)
SAT II: 730 Physics 730 Mathematics Level 2 730 Chemistry

EC: Vice President of Student Council in High School (Similar to Student Government), Camp IC of two Character Development camps, Chaired a dialogue between Student Leaders and a Member of Parliament (politician in Singapore) Choir from grade 8-12, Silver Award for Singapore Youth Festival.

If they don’t accept you it would shock me. Your stats are really good. Good luck!!!

Where are you thinking of applying to?

I’d like to try MIT and some other Ivies, but I know my EC is really lacking in that sense and I’m in the international pool, which would be much more difficult. Does Student Council seem like a strong EC when the college admission committees look at it?

I’d like to do a Physics/Engineering course related subject. :D

Thanks. You’re a really nice person. :D

You could try, and you might have a shot (maybe not at HYP and equivalents, but a bit lower than that?) if you are not applying for financial aid.

Does MIT fall below the HYP? Would applying for Financial Aid put me in a disadvantage?

MIT = HYP, in terms of selectivity. There are 7 need-blind schools; other than these, applying for Fin Aid *would *put you at a disadvantage.
