Would you consider "alternative" types of housing? Co-housing, university adjacent, etc

I mean it’s probably a lot cheaper. CCRCs are expensive but you’re paying for that safety net.

I think that co-housing would be an interim move.
I think if I live long enough I will need to move somewhere that provides more assistance than co-housing would, particularly if all the other residents are ‘senior’ as well.
