IMO, weight often indicates something about personality.

I think that is TOTALLY UNTRUE! Overweight= lazy, depressed, comedian, etc is totally untrue. If an overweight person loses weight, then does their whole personality change with the lost pounds? I don’t think so.

who cares about their personality?

<---------me, a good personality can help me overlook a little overweightness…too much overweightness is just not my type…a bad personality can make beauty look like ****.

a wiser man than myself once said, “don’t worry about what people think of you, they are too busy worrying about what you think of them.”

I have found this to be generally true. If you think nice of others, regardless, they will usually want you around if nothing else.

We’ve all heard of “do not judge a book by its cover”.

Okay.

I won’t judge a book by its cover, but (to an extent) I will judge a person.

For example: if a girl wears a mini-skirt and high heels, etc., I will definitely have a different perception of her personality than a girl who wears more conversative clothing.

Dave Chappelle actually mentioned this in one of his stand-ups: “Just because I dress a certain way does NOT mean I act a certain way.” (He was ridiculing girls who dress a ‘certain’ way)

When people go out in public, they must realize that they may provoke a reaction from others whether its intentional or not. If I walked around naked in the streets of NYC, whose fault is it if anyone is offended (me included)? I should be responsible for my appearance, and it would be my fault for anyone being offended if I were naked. It’s part of living in a society, and I don’t mean to sound stern about it, but I’m sick of hearing about people getting offended when they are reprimanded for something and start arguing with others trying to get some sort of pathetic justification.

That disgresses from the original topic, but I thought it was important to underline the idea that appearance is a factor no matter what.

Dating fat people? I’m not acquainted with anyone who is particularly fat. A girl does not have to be stick thin to be appreciated.
