<p>Wow, you sound extremely shallow. You don’t sound like someone who’s looking for a soulmate or someone to spend your life with. If you continue with this attitude about simply desperately trying to find any decent girl who will go out with you, then you’re not going to find happiness. Just chill out. Money, status, and intellect are all great things but they don’t make someone fall in love with you. If you just live life, meet as many people as possible, and stop obsessing over your looks, then before you know it you’re going to find a girl who is interested in you for YOU. Do you seriously want a girl to just go out with you because you have money or a career? That’s not something I’d strive for. </p>
<p>Just remember, if you don’t even like yourself…then why would you expect anyone else to? Work on yourself. It’s good that you’re going to the gym every morning and working to become somebody, but do it for yourself not for anyone else.</p>
<p>And for the record, most girls are not as shallow as guys and a scar is not going to stop someone from dating you if they truly like you as a person.</p>
<p>^ Give the kid a break. It’s obvious that he is insecure about this and it has probably been a major issue throughout his life.</p>
<p>Also, I’m not sure if you are familiar with what a cleft palate is exactly. It is more severe than just a typical scar and many people with them have insecurity issues because of it.</p>
