No, I am not planning to drop out of high school.

This is just a “what if” scenario.

Let’s say the high school dropout did not fit the stereotype.

Let’s say he/she was an A student and kind person who ONLY dropped out of high school due to family problems, whether that would be abuse from parents that caused depression or family poverty.

After dropping out, he/she worked his/her butt off to get the highest GED score possible. Now he/she has received a GED with a high score, and is planning on going to community college before transferring to university.

Would you still look down on him/her? Or would you look past this and focus more on his/her abilities, dedication, and personality?
