While I might get a kick out of it, my husband would never NEVER allow it. Strangers traipsing through our sanctuary, breaking things, trampling his beautiful landscaping, touching our personal belongings? He would be overcome by anxiety. Years ago, we bought a house in his college town for our daughter to live in while she attended college there. We fixed it up so nice that we were asked to put it in a Christmas home tour, proceeds going to a local charity. He grudgingly allowed it. On the day, I had to send him away because he was so riddled with outrage and anxiety about people walking through and touching our Christmas decorations and a faux fur throw on our daughter’s bed. He kept asking me why I’d agreed to it.
Never again, he said. So I’d believe that this would be a big NO from him on an extended period of time of people taking over our house.
