Would you rather attend...

Brown, with their great open curriculum. Yes, with immature students… lol

[Emma Watson officially withdraws from Brown University | NowPublic News Coverage](http://www.nowpublic.com/culture/emma-watson-officially-withdraws-brown-university)

[katio: I guess students at Brown are as immature as they](<a href=“HuffPost - Breaking News, U.S. and World News | HuffPost”>HuffPost - Breaking News, U.S. and World News | HuffPost)

Now, something interesting:

St. John’s College (Maryland) or Shimer College?

Yeah, I actually asked because Amherst has no distribution requirements either, as far as I know.

And I absolutely adore St. John’s, but I’d rather go to Shimer. It’s in Chicago! If only they’d kept their old campus…

Washington and Lee or NYU?

NYU

Berkeley or Pomona?

Berkeley.

USC or UCLA (OOS)?

USC. The people there I like better and I love the campus life.

Cornell or Tufts?

Tufts

Wesleyan or Claremont McKenna?

Claremont McKenna

U Chicago or UCLA?

UCLA

Miami (FL) or Miami (OH)?

Miami (FL)

Santa Clara University or Texas A&M University?

I know nothing about either school. If I recall, A&M is stronger in science, and Santa Clara is stronger in the humanities. I’d probably go to Santa Clara, probably because it is closer to home and I’m not really interested in majoring in that field. Texas A&M is probably the better school, though

ut austin or u of florida?

I’d go with ut austin. I think they’ve got better science programs in engineering an stuff.

Being a science person, I have to ask…
MIT or CalTech?

Caltech! California sunshine. Small size. And great track record in placing students in great graduate programs.

The confusion of names:

Washington University at St Louis, or University of Washington at Seattle?

Probably Wash U. Don’t know much about it though.

Georgetown University or UCLA?

UCLA, for the same reason as the reason I chose Caltech. Sunshine. Plus, I am not really into foreign service or politics. They got a basketball team with more NCAA tournament titles (although the previous one is won in 1995), and their other athletic teams have plenty of reasons to cheer, too - most team titles in the country.

So… Stanford or Princeton?

stanford. princeton’s way to close to home.

a choice a friend of mine had to make recently. Berkeley or UVA?

Berkeley. It is much more vibrant and ‘edgy’ than Virginia, imo.

Virginia Tech or Boston College?

BC

GA tech or VA tech

VA Tech. Nice campus out in the mountains.

Notre Dame or Georgetown?

Notre Dame.

Fordham or Boston College?
