Would you send this test score?

D has a 2130 (720 M, 690 CR, 720 W) from her first time taking the SAT this past fall. She took the ACT this winter and ended up with a 31 composite (36 E, 30 M, 30 Sc, 28 R.) Because what we read indicated that the SAT was a little higher, I thought that it probably wasn’t worth sending the ACT score to schools. But she thinks it might be worth sending because of the 36 in the English section.

Then yesterday I read a thread here where some posters pointed out that a few schools (GT and Pitt were noted) do in fact look at the best sections across the tests. I could not find any information indicating that any of the schools on her list do the same. Most of the schools on the list are “match” schools. We think she has a good shot at getting in with the stats she has now, but we are hoping she’ll get some merit money.

She won’t be taking the ACT again because she really feels as though the SAT is a better fit for her. She did take the SAT again on Saturday and planned to be all done with testing - but this whole timing snafu leaves that questionable.

So my question really is: Is it likely that admissions officers would notice the 36 on the ACT English and consider that favorably in conjunction with the rest of her application, or would they just not bother because her SAT is the better test overall? Is it worth sending the ACT?
