Anybody flown this airline? They have cheap non-stops from Boston and Wash. DC to several points in Europe. Looks like there may be some bag fees, both for carry-ons and checked. We’ll be flying to Copenhagen next year and just found out about this airline. So, who’s been there and done that?
WOW. Why haven’t I heard of them before?? And they leave from Boston, my home airport!
Prices look VERY reasonable.
We flew nonstop from Newark to Copenhagen for $760 on Scandinavia Airlines. Our daughter just purchased nonstop round trip from Copenhagen to Newark for $734 on Scandinavia Airlines, so Wow Airline prices don’t seem impressive to me.
They were offering the cheapest flights from DC to London Heathrow recently, if you don’t mind changing planes in Reykavik. I don’t know anyone who has flown with them, but it’s tempting if I’m flying alone (H won’t do plane changes).
Reykjavik is a nice airport, according to my friend who loves Icelandair.
I have flown Icelandair from Boston to Reykjavik…sort of tight in the seating but the price was right. The airport is nice , but when connecting to another flight, you don’t see much of it. We had time to grab a quick sandwich and Icelandic version of yogurt and off we went to our connecting flight

This is interesting. Did a random Boston to Paris search for May and Air France came up in the low/mid-$600 range, while WOW was over $800. Of course, there are baggage fee variations, etc. to consider. Makes me sure that amidst all the nonsense, snagging the best deal at a given time may be unlikely.
I was happy to see Europe for $600 ish-I haven’t seen it that low in ages. (I wonder if Paris in particular is impacted this year.)
