<p>Red dot means you have your settings set such that other posters cannot see when you are on line. Otherwise that red dot would be a yellow CC square for others to see.</p>

<p>I saw a thread “need 1 point” and thought they meant a rep point turns out it was student talking about their grades…). Also because this is the fun thread, I find it funny that a poster with the interesting name of The ‘Hairy’ Lemon has been changed into Mr. Hairy “the lemon” by another poster. Maybe playing with our user names will be the next new thing after we finish with the green box spread the love.</p>

<p>BTW, This reputation system is a clever ploy by CC to distract parents from impending ED decisions. Who cares where our kids get in when we can collect dozens of green boxes? But I’m wondering whether U.S. News is behind these rankings.</p>
