<p>Thanks for those greenie bumps folks. Makes me feel loved. I’m generally an optimistic person, but whoa, 2012 was a very tough year for me/us. I know the beginning of this year won’t be easy either (my mom is now in paliative care), but let’s hope 2013 keeps getting better.</p>

<p>How do you see who gave you points? How come different posters’s points are “worth” more? (It sounds like what Daley infamously said about the Chicago elections, “Vote early and often.” And what does the two-tone greens mean?</p>

<p>The number count is based on the number of your good posts minus the number of bad posts divided by the total number of months on CC multipled by the square root of the combined ages of your kids. Joking, kind of. There is some formula, but only Lorem and jym know it!</p>

<p>2 points for each year on CC (just went up today? maybe?)
2 points for each 1000 posts (this is not 1 for 500)
1 point for every 100 rep points you’ve received (can be checked by clicking My Control Panel at the top of the page)</p>
