Wow - he's really leaving home . . .

It really is funny.

These kids are so different than we were. All we did was drink and smoke. All they want to do is sing and dance!

Love it.

hdparker - you made me laugh out loud!!!

Yes yes! I will miss the music and her crazy theater friends. When they all get together they do improv games too, and you never know what one of them will do. (I had a “cat” crawl through my living room during a cast party once…) And the spontaneous harmonizing. And the loud shower singing. The “last” concerts are going to be difficult. I am sure to be emotional. My daughter is a musician as well as a singer/dancer/actor so there are tons of spring concerts coming. I am so excited for her to be doing this, and leaving and beginning her own life–and so ridiculously proud of how hard she has worked to get here, but yes, I will miss her and all of the energy and light she brings to this place! I will be adding plenty of visiting costs in with that tuition budget. :)

Well all that drinking and smoking kinda stole away the ability to sing, right? Altho I could always croak out a few bars of “Old Man River” . . .

I will be looking forward to seeing the college performances, and I know I’m lucky to be able to get in to see them without an airplane involved.

Let’s all enjoy the last couple of months, shall we?!?!?

I am currently fighting for my daughter. My wife is seriously considering relocating to NYC.

What do you mean, hdparker?? That is huge!

I will miss my D terribly. But I will gain a bedroom floor (hers) that I have barely seen in four years!
