maybe i’ll email lol.

To put this issue to rest I just called the admissions office and was told that they have not sent the RD letters out yet and was further told that people should begin receiving them around April 1st which means they will be sent out some time between March 30th and April 1st. How some kids who aren’t minorities got their letters is beyond me but I just wanted to share this info.

Another day and still nothing for me… I wish someone could tell me whether they send ALL minority acceptances early. Because now I know that means I am rejected. I’m in MA and it’s been 4 postal days…

I didn’t get anything and I’m in NYC.

o_0 Is needing financial aid considered URM? Either that or being female…those are my only guesses. I’m getting a bit worried now. Maybe my letter was a fluke?

Or I just happened to slip by the radar.

i definitley know that people are still being considered for admission. Right now they have the 3 stacks - accepted, rejected, and still being considered for the final cut/ waitlist. Next week the list will be finalized. April 1st they should get mailed.

how are defintely sure

so… if we haven’t heard yet… does that mean we are rejected? :(

If you haven’t heard yet, it just means that you haven’t heard back yet. Wesleyan said they haven’t sent out most of their RD decisions yet, so don’t think that not hearing back yet means a rejection!

I noticed they changed their website - now it says “CONGRATULATIONS Early Decision Admitted Students!!” Haha, I bet there were a lot of people like us contacting Admissions to see if RD decisions were sent out

I received mine yesterday!

I’m Asian, but I also live in GA… And that’s pretty far from CT.

My acceptance letter is dated March 23rd, 2007 as well!

Nothing in NYC.

The Haverford letter is also dated March 23d. In fact, the NESCAC schools have agreed to a uniform notification date each year, so you can expect that Wes and the others will have posted their letters on Friday. Delivery of the mail is another matter :).

Did any international student get in Wesleyan??

Are you saying Haverford is an NESCAC school? I just checked Wikipedia and it doesn’t include Haverford on the list.

It could be wrong, but I’m just wondering.

If all the NESCAC schools have agreed to a uniform notification date, then I guess I’ll get my Amherst letter soon!

Haverford is definitely not in the NESCAC.

Yeah, what with Pennsylvania not being in New England and all.

NESCAC: Amherst, Bates, Bowdoin, Colby, Conn College, Hamilton, Middlebury, Trinity, Tufts, Wesleyan. Williams.

NESCAC schools have agreed to a uniform period for notification of regular admissions decisions - it’s late March to early April. Bowdoin apparently sent its decisions out on March 26th but other schools have not yet done so.

Does anybody have an update on when the rest of the decisions are arriving? I’m dying here…

im gonna predict that we will be informed by early next week.
