Mine came w/ an invitation to the minority thing at Wesleyan so I’m guessing all minorities got theirs first… maybe so minorities could have more time to decide if they were going to come visist?..

I emailed admissions. They said decisions are sent out tomorrow, March 30th. So, most should receive something by Monday, Tuesday at the latest.

SO i’m guessing that by now if we’re minority and have not received anything, we’re probably rejected/waitlist…

precocious, i thought this was the case, but someone I know who’s chances to get into wesleyan are extremely good didn’t get anything yet. so that keeps my hopes up. She’s asian btw.

are acceptances sent priority, or normal?

my daughter applied to Wes, it’s her first choice… I thought we would certainly get a letter today (in NJ) but nothing… could it take 3 days to go from CT to NJ?
anyone in the NY Metro area get their decision today?

my brother, who is a senior, did not get any mail in the tri-state area today.
although we have legacy and he has a great resum?, we don’t feel that his gpa is high enough to make it in-- best of luck to your daughter, rbwriter, I’m sure that it will be great news!

I live in Brooklyn, and I haven’t received a decision from Wesleyan. I guess we’ll get it tomorrow.

phew, and thanks… who knows, maybe the larger envelopes take longer? wishing you all the best also…

Haha, funny you should say that… I’m hoping the reason I haven’t received a letter yet is that larger envelopes take longer… it’s probably wishful thinking though.

Anybody in the midwest hear anything yet? I was so sure something would be in today’s mail, but no such luck!

I’m from Wisconsin and I got mine today.

yes or no?

Nothing today in CT…I definitley am getting rejected.

Good luck to you all from a former Wes-mom! I hope big envelopes are coming to you all!!!

what the hell nothing in CT. Ok I guess they send out acceptances seperate. I guess I am getting a rejection then how wonderful. 4/12 for acceptances for me when the wesleyan rejection comes. I had it with this crap. I am going to have to choose between my safeties. This is ridiculous, I could have gotten B’s and C’s and still got into these schools.

Nothing in MI yet. CMU large envelope ended up taking a week to get here, whereas Tufts rejection (mailed March 30th, I think) got here today. I’m hoping that the reason my Wes envelope didn’t show up is because I was accepted & it’s larger. XD Not likely, but I’m staying positive nonetheless.

got an acceptance today in NJ =)

I am totally thrilled!!! I am in! Congrats to all who were accepted and sadness for those of you guys who weren’t. I know how you feel from other places that rejected me. I hope you got into other schools you love.

For those accepted are you going to Wes Fest?

accepted today in MD near Washington DC. I’ve got the lowest gpa of anybody in my school to ever have gotten into Wes so y’all don’t lose hope. ok!!! Rejected or waitlisted everywhere else. This admissions experience was discouraging and horrible, and I’m totally glad I got into one of my top schools. Word of advice: be sure not to only apply to reach schools like I did.
