wow this is a late thread -

but i’ll just ask anyway. how much easier is it to graduate from dartmouth in 3 years than from princeton in 3 years? (assuming i have the required credits to do so at either) I have to make a decision… very soon! can anyone help me? anyone graduated in 3 years from either of these two fine colleges before?

thanks!!

I heard Princeton has grade deflation. Also last year, I read on CC, someone transfered to Darmouth from some schools in Georgia said the Math class at Dartmouth is easier than the math class he had in a college in Georgia.

Honestly I would never want to graduate in three years. You’ll lose a lot.

yep, Princeton has grade deflation… or rather, everyone else is having grade inflation. but deflation is gonna be there whether i grad in 3 or 4 years anyway.

haha, so grade deflation/inflation aside, how much easier would it be to graduate in 3 years from dartmouth than princeton?

slipper1234: i agree, but i actually need to…

These colleges are meant to be sipped, not slurped. If you are really in a rush, you would be better off going to a larger university with less tuition and more possibilities to avoid the courses that make college worthwhile. Asking which prestigious school is easier indicates that you don’t really need to go to either. An IVY league degree does not guarantee success in and of itself.

Draw your own conclusion. But at grade inflation school, you can pack more classes and graduate earlier.

the fewer the distribution requirements, the sooner you can start working towards your major…here are links to both of the schools distribution requirements…you can figure out which one would take more time

hmmm they look about the same, except that Princeton has a foreign language requirement :)

anyone else with an idea of graduating in 3 years from Princeton or Dartmouth? does anyone know anyone who’s done it before?
