Wow, what's the difference between these degrees?

In the College of The Liberal Arts a student may choose to pursue either a bachelor of arts (ECLBA) or a bachelor of science degree (ECLBS) in economics. In The Smeal College of Business a student may choose to pursue a bachelor of science degree in economics (BA EC).”</p>

<p>Why is it called BA EC and not ECLBS for the Smeal College of Business when it still states that it’s a bachelor of science degree?</p>

<p>It’s not a typo. The BA means Business Administration, a.k.a. the Smeal College. It is a Bachelor of Science degree.</p>
