Wow, will my terrible SAT II scores drastically affect my chances?

Take note that I took the chemistry exam when I was still in AP Chemistry and hadn’t taken chemistry since 10th grade. And it’ll probably even hurt even more that I want to major in chemistry…Hmm…what do you think?

Math II: 770 (and I got 800s on all the practice tests…)
Chemistry: …590… (got my poo pushed in…)

I want to major in chemistry but I don’t know how this will affect my chances to Duke, UCs, etc.

Refer to this link for my stats in my chances thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/595620-my-terrible-test-scores-what-my-chances.html

Um… Sorry, if you didn’t plan to MAJOR in chemistry it wouldn’t be a big deal, but with that Chem. score some doubts will definitely be cast on your abilities.

The Math II isn’t a problem. 770 is fine.

SAT II’s will not make or break your chances.

sigh Any other opinions?

Is retaking that test an option?

Well, that’s another problem. The Dec. test date is right on the auditions for All-State orchestra and I really wanna go. But then again, if I’m gonna do the SATs, should I try to improve my SAT I or SAT II?

I thought the registration deadline already passed?

I’ll just do standby testing. SAT II should be fine but not sure about SAT I…
