so, wpi is my top choice school, but im not sure how im going to apply yet.

my act score is a 27.

for the flex program, id send in the report i had to write at the end of my week long internship at a hospital. (i was an exchange student in germany last year, and i participated in an internship at a local hospital.) i would spend the original (in german) and the translated (english) copy.

the only real thing i have to put on my application (other than the internship) is my exchange year. (and then little things like swimming, jazz ensemble, rowing and stuff). i have an A average for this year, my exchange year messed up my grades up a lot, but when i went to visit wpi, the admissions counselor said they understood completely (and to not even get them started on the american grading system. ha) and that it wouldnt hinder my application in any way.

so, i guess what i’m asking, is should i send in the 27, or the essay? 27 is on the lower range of their accepted act scores (27-30), but the essay is definitely different. what do you think?
