In the common app for WPI, under questions, and again under other information there is a question that asks “What interests you most about WPI?” It gives you room for a typed response, but does not provide any rules or word requirements. I am not sure if this is supposed to be an essay or a quick free response type question.

I believe there’s a 250 word limit, so it’s like a mini-essay. My son and a couple of his friends are applying and that’s how they are treating it.
