I know love because of her.

D’s favorite saying to me: “Mom, I love you, but it’s been hard raising you!”

I know love because of her.

D’s favorite saying to me: “Mom, I love you, but it’s been hard raising you!”

I was so much older then

Right now mine would be: “Works part time, lives full time.”

The epitaphs made me laugh. My daughter is always insisting that she is well enough to do whatever fun thing is coming up, no matter how deathly ill or injured she is. She can’t stand for anything to slow her down. I have always said her epitaph will be, “Really, I’m fine!”

Read, write, sing, give your best.

Eternity and consiousness boggles my mind

Never missed a chance to party!

Childhood, college, career, marriage, kids; repeat.

Older I get, better I was.

Contented and happy with my life.

True victory is victory over oneself.

Wrong planet, other than that, fine.

To the great unknown, and beyond !!

Some things work out; some don’t.

Lived long and prospered.

I’ve never come up with one I really liked, but this might be close:

Right husband, right kids. Right career?

A perennial bum that has to work some time.

whispers heard

grabbed

returned

in spades

So many projects, so little time.

by me, of the endless unfinished projects.

Born poor. Born black. Triumphed anyway.

I love these. I hope people keep sharing. Now I’m trying to come up with an epitaph! Although I could borrow DB’s great one because I too am planning to be throw to the wind.
