<p>I’ve taken both the SAT and ACT and have gotten an 8 on both and its really bringing my score down! Does anybody have any tips for scoring higher on the essay?</p>
<p>Sparknote three books that you have read in school in the past year the night before the test. Make sure to use one of them in the essay. Make it fit. </p>

Lord of the Flies is a really good one because there are so many themes.
Frankenstein also has many different themes. </p>
<p>Usually, you can somehow connect the topic to the book if you think a little. As long as there are enough details, the fact that you read books and know details will help your score.</p>
