<p>UNC’s essay question is basically write the first page of a novel I would write if I was novelist. I’m not sure what it would prove other than my creativity so would it be all right if I did the above?</p>

<p>Well, typically “novel” doesn’t imply children’s picture book. It’s fine to do it geared to children, just dont dumb it down to where it’s not novel quality.</p>
