Writing About Being Falsely Accused of Cheating?

I was taking an online test for history and I accidentally right clicked and opened another window for two seconds (I straight out said I didnt do it in the first sentence). Though I closed it, the history teacher made me retake the test, which I did well on. There is no record of this incident on my transcript as the teacher thought it was a fluke too. I chose this topic because I wanted to talk about how I dealt with irrational guilt and emotions. In the end, I conclude that my emotions crippled me, but it was also me that gave me the strength to move on. I emphasized how I realized how powerful the individual is, how I dealt with the people who actually thought I cheated, and how I managed to stop seeking validation from others.

But, I’m still worried about how this topic may affect college admissions as the topic of cheating is a very sensitive one. Is my take on the situation okay?

Not a good topic. Don’t do it.

Any other opinions?

No. The fact that you survived being falsely accused isn’t an important thing to know about you, unless you plan on being falsely accused in the future. And why would anyone think that? Better to amplify some traits that hopefully will be more relevant for your future.

It doesn’t sound like the most persuasive essay ever and if anything risks putting doubts in their mind about you potentially cheating that wouldn’t exist otherwise. I would choose another topic.

^ No upside to this topic.

Thanks! I’ll try to find another topic

This is like telling a blind date that you were once accused of being a child molester, but the problem sorted itself out.

I vote NO.

You need to write on some other topic,One which may had a deeper impact on you than just retaking an online test
