Writing about my blankey...

So for Stanford’s notorious “What matters to you and why?” supplement, I am stuck. My blankey is the first thing that came to mind and I tried to just go with it. You always here to stay true to yourself and tell them about you so I wrote about how important my blankey is to me. I feel like it is a weak essay though. Does this sound like a good topic? I tried to approach it by talking about my blankey’s sentimental value from my past and what not.

It’s all in how you write it. Is it a good, insightful essay that show “who you are” as a person or is it about a blanket? Try showing it to your english teacher or someone you trust and see what they think about it as a piece of writing. Does that make sense?

Yes thanks. I’ll try to relate all my thoughts about my blanket to who I am as a person.
