Writing admission essay on my intuitive and curious mind.

<p>This is the prompt for the application: </p>

<p>“Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are?”</p>

<p>I am applying for Molecular Biology.</p>

<p>The personal qualities that I wanted to pick was my intuition and curiosity. I am a very curious person by nature,particularly in science, and I believe it will benefit me when I start doing research at my University. In addition I wanted to write about how I am a very intuitive person. I can easily connect dots and create a big picture out of details. I was just wondering if this would be topic that I could write about. Before I start writing I would be very appreciative if someone else could reflect on my idea and possibly advise me. </p>

<p>The prompt clearly implies that only one quality should be used. An essay about your intellectual curiosity is cliche, so I’d go with intuition. You should phrase it so you’re not coming off as too arrogant (i.e. don’t make it seem that your intuition makes you superior to others).</p>

<p>IMO, a response to the “accomplishment, contribution or experience” has the potential for a much better essay than on your intuition.</p>
